Train the next generation of missionaries
The process of becoming the Society of the Divine Word missionary is very challenging. Many of our recent seminarians are from countries where English is not the principal language, so their studies are made more difficult because of this challenge. Essential parts of their training include living among the poor and disadvantaged in the U.S. and overseas so they can learn the cultures of the people they will serve.
Your gift impacts the present by supporting these devoted men in their journey to become missionaries and the future ministries that these men will dedicate their lives to.
You can also underwrite a full or partial scholarship as a one-time gift. Consider endowing a scholarship in your name or the name of a loved one. What better way to honor a loved one than to support the education and training of a seminarian in the name of someone you love.
